Hey there! I’m Grace, I am so happy you are here!
If lately you’ve been feeling drained, disconnected, or unsure of who you are outside of what you do for others, you’re not alone — and you’re in the right place.
Let’s get to know each other a little!
My Therapeutic Approaches
-
My approach is collaborative and personalized. I pull from a variety of therapeutic modalities including the ones below! What matters most is that our work feels supportive and tailored to you. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all and your care shouldn’t be either.
-
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It’s a therapy approach that helps people heal from distressing experiences or trauma by allowing the brain to reprocess memories in a new, less overwhelming way.
It might sound a little weird at first (it did to me, too!), but it’s actually really gentle and effective. We use things like eye movements, tapping, or sounds to help the brain “unstick” tough memories and make space for new understanding and relief.
Many people find EMDR helps them feel lighter, less triggered, and more grounded — without having to talk through every detail of what happened.
-
Experiential therapy is all about doing rather than just talking. Instead of only sitting and discussing what’s going on, we might explore feelings through creative or body-based activities — like guided imagery, role play, movement, or even using objects or art to express something that’s hard to put into words.
It helps us connect with emotions on a deeper level and can uncover insights that traditional talk therapy might miss. Sometimes our bodies and instincts know things before our minds do — experiential therapy helps bring all of that into the healing process.
-
IFS stands for Internal Family Systems, and it’s based on the idea that we’re all made up of many different “parts.” You might have a part that’s really hard on yourself, a part that wants to keep the peace, a part that feels anxious, and maybe another part that just wants to rest.
IFS helps us get to know these parts — not to get rid of them, but to understand them with compassion. Every part has a reason for being there, even the ones that feel overwhelming or confusing. When we listen to them with curiosity instead of judgment, we can start to heal the deeper wounds they’re trying to protect.
It’s kind, empowering, and one of my favorite ways to help people reconnect with themselves.
What to expect?
As far as my fancy degree goes, I have received my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and am currently under the supervision of Sara Hopkins LMFT 928.
As a clinician I am silly, soft-hearted, and I believe in being fully myself — because I want you to feel safe being fully yourself too.
That might mean we cry, reflect, pause, laugh — sometimes all in one session. Whatever you bring, I’m here to hold it with care. I’ m a proud LGBTQ+ affirming clinician and love working with people navigating anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, identity exploration, trauma, relationship issues, or just feeling stuck.
Whether you’re figuring out who you are, learning how to say “no,” or simply trying to breathe a little easier — you’re welcome here.
My Services
-
Individual counseling is a one-on-one space where you can explore life!
It’s a place that’s just for you — to process, heal, grow, and reconnect with yourself. We’ll go at your pace, and together we’ll make sense of the hard stuff while also uncovering your strengths, values, and what truly matters to you.
My standard fee is $100 per session, however I do offer a sliding scale upon request!
-
Teen counseling is a supportive space for teens to explore what they’re feeling, thinking, and going through without pressure, judgment, or the need to have all the right words.
Whether it’s anxiety, school stress, identity exploration, family dynamics, or just figuring out who they are, therapy can help teens feel more confident, understood, and grounded. I work to build trust first, so teens feel safe being themselves — jokes, eye rolls, deep thoughts, and all.
Every teen deserves a space that’s just theirs to process, explore, and grow — and I’m here to help create that.
My standard fee is $100 per session, however I do offer sliding scale upon request!

Starting therapy is a big step, and it’s important that you feel comfortable with the person you’re sharing your story with. I offer a free 15-minute phone call so we can connect, talk through what you're looking for, and make sure it feels like a good fit for both of us. No pressure — just a chance to see if we vibe.
Why I do what I do!

Why I do what I do! *
When I was 18, I made the brave (and honestly, terrifying) decision to start therapy. It was a challenging time in my life, and I didn’t know what to expect — all I knew was that I felt lost and needed help. I remember walking into my therapist’s office, feeling like I had so many layers of pain I didn’t know where to even start. During my first session, I sat there and I just started crying. I kept apologizing for my tears, feeling embarrassed and unsure if it was okay to let my guard down.
That’s when my therapist gently said, “There’s no need to apologize. This is your space to feel.”
That moment hit me like a wave. It was the first time I truly understood that therapy isn’t about being "fixed" or having all the answers — it’s about being seen. It's about being able to sit with your emotions without judgment, without rushing, and without the pressure of having to figure it all out right away. I didn’t need to apologize for my feelings. I just needed to feel them.
It was in that space of empathy and acceptance that I began to heal. It wasn’t immediate, but the process of being seen so clearly, changed me forever. After that experience, I decided that I wanted to be that person for someone else. I wanted to create a safe, compassionate space where others could feel understood and supported, just like I did.
So here I am, doing what I love, helping people like you find the same kind of space to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves.
